NZSki prides itself on its history in the New Zealand snowsports industry. Located in New Zealand’s South Island, our three mountains offer a fantastic winter experience. State-of-the-art facilities, great staff support and two very individual resort towns mean your time with us will be full of fun and accomplishment.

Our season starts in June and will generally run until the end of September or into early October, however this is subject to vagaries of weather and snow sports business levels. The amount and duration of work cannot be guaranteed.

Staff Training & Development – NZSki-U delivers a framework to develop the skills needed within the New Zealand snowsports industry. Every employee is able to obtain a National Certificate in Tourism with strands in Snowsports. This training is free to all staff and recognised at NZQA level three. We also offer company and departmental training as part of the induction process and will continue on-the-job training while in operation.
Performance Management – We want your time with us to be full of fun, accomplishment and personal growth. That’s why we provide you with two performance related reviews per season against criteria that appears on your position description.
Performance Incentives – We recognise our employees with a fortnightly SnowStar recognition scheme and the ultimate seasonal reward of the NZSki OE – you could be on your way to the USA!
Staff Events – From induction week to the end of season we like to have fun on the mountains! Staff parties, night skis, tubing nights and sporting events – we like to make sure everyone is having a good time.
Uniforms – Modern and warm uniforms are supplied to every department, each uniform specifically catering to the needs of that department. Uniforms are supplied for the duration of the season only and must be returned when employment ceases.
