Why lug that gear around if you don't have to? Everything you need is right here on the mountain. We stock the latest gear, from clothing to equipment, and our on-site technicians keep it in top condition. We have one of the largest and most current ranges of rental equipment in the South Island, with quality brands such as Head, K2, Salomon and Burton allowing you a choice of fit and feel.

At Mt Hutt we have the revolutionary Head BYS ski fitting system, designed to reduce the amount of time taken to fit boots and skis allowing you maximum time on the slopes. Try Mt Hutt's new town rental service. Get fitted with your skis or snowboard in Methven the night before, avoid the rental queues the next day and go straight to the equipment storage facility.

Carving skis make up the majority of our recreational range and a selection of other ski options are available through our performance line. Snowboards come with freestyle strap-in bindings and when you rent on the mountain if you want to swap, exchange, upgrade or find something’s not quite right, we'll take care of it on the spot. If you’re feeling like a change you can ski in the morning then switch to snowboarding in the afternoon at no extra charge. Our on-mountain rental departments offer free overnight storage to all hirers.

In Queenstown we also offer you the added flexibility of returning your rental equipment to Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or the Queenstown Snow Centre, irrespective of where you picked it up.
